You have to drag your luggage up a few steps to get into the hotel. But who cares? This is a very nice hotel in an excellent location near everything you want to see and do. The breakfast is terrific with a huge selection. But what really made our stay is the service we received. Warm and friendly, every staff member made us feel welcome. If you’ve packed heavy (our trip was 30 days and included a stay in the artic so we had several large, heavy bags) beware there are steps going in. One suite option (the best one), required additional steps as well, so we settled on the remaining Jr Suite. Very, very dark (windows only halfway up) and lighting is so very poor. Spacious rooms (suite included living room and separate bedroom). Very uncomfortable chaise & chair; inadequate storage for longer stays. On the plus side, roomy bathroom, bed comfortable enough. Make sure your electronics are dual voltage.
