Koora was such a special place to stay. So many great things - the staff were so attentive and welcoming, the food was amazing and the wildlife we encountered just walking to and from our room featured armadillos, mischievous coatis, agutis and so much more. I’ve stayed at lots of places, this rates in the top 10 - so beautiful and tranquil - highly recommend.

Beautiful place to stay. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant was excellent. The hotel is right next to a nice walking trail. Service was a bit slow at times, but it was such a wonderful place overall it is hard to complain.

Excellent hotell with friendly and service minded

Exclusive hotel in the middle of the cloudforest with the most service minded staff we have ever encountered. Excellent food and coctails. Two smaller pools that was nice to warm up in after rainy hikes. Lots of animals on the premises. The sun sets were spectacular.

I truly enjoyed this property as one of the best throughout my travels in Costa Rica. From arrival to departure, the fine tuned service was 5 star. Breakfast was included where you are served and not buffet style. We had dinner there 2 nights and the food was amazing. Marco is an outstanding manager and his leadership is evident via his employees. I was impressed by the staff recognizing the guests by name. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and those reading this, that the cottages "in the clouds" is worth the trip to Monteverde.
