“Gorgeous location and views from both the room and the restaurant. The hiking trails are very nice and well maintained. Recommend doing the night walk! The staff are also incredibly helpful and will help you with the best options for booking tours in Monteverde.”

“Staff was very friendly and helpful. We kept asking them for great places to eat and they always had a new place for us to go that was amazing. The apartment we stayed at had a fireplace that my wife enjoyed at night and an arcade game for the kids to play with. It was a great place for us to relax at the end of the day and get ready for the next days activities.”

“Rooms were clean and tidy but the kitchen was not. Coffee maker had mold, silverware and dishes were not clean, we ended up eating out instead of cooking. Pool was beautiful and clean. Property was a wonderful place to relax and explore. Proximity to town was great assuming you have transportation. Check out the garden Maze nextdoor.”

“Really enjoyed our stay here! One of our favorite places we stayed at! The fire pit and the views were stunning! We got some beautiful photos. The server in the restaurant I forget his name but he was wonderful as well. We also did the avocado trail and it was nice but we went a little late so it started getting dark. Def recommend doing it earlier in the day. Overall, very clean and friendly staff. Recommend!”

“Our stay at Belcruz was absolutely amazing. From the staff, to the grounds and the food everything was five stars. The breakfast was the best we’ve had on the trip and the dinner was 5 star restaurant quality. The best part was how family friendly it was our kids had an amazing time exploring the trails on property, seeing the wildlife and playing with the B&Bs dog Rocky. If I could rate it higher I would. Absolutely fantastic experience and we will be back !!!”

“06/2026: We were excited for our stay, but our experience was the worst of Costa Rica. On our first night, after a long day of travel, the toilet in Room 28 flooded after a single flush at 9:43 PM. No toilet paper had been used, so this was clearly not caused by misuse. We immediately attempted to contact the front desk, only to discover it had closed at 9:30 PM. Despite this being an emergency sanitation issue, no assistance was available. As a result, we spent the next 10 hours sleeping in a……
