Worth the money

Host was incredibly, helpful, communicative and friendly. Not far from Duluth and close to Jay Cook State Park... RV park was quiet and clean, the communal showers were incredibly well taken care of (note; the RV has a clean, working shower we just didn't use it). Overall we had a very pleasant experience. Would stay again.

Do not recommended! A few friends and I (4 of us in total) rented this RV for 2 nights stay for Grandma's Marathon weekend. Stating the unit comfortably sleeps 6 is inaccurate, misleading at best. It has one queen bed, a sofabed, and a convertible table to bed that is perhaps suitable for a child / young teen. The sofabed was unusable due to very poor condition - one of us decidedly slept on the floor. The heat didn't work & seems it hasn't been maintained for quite some time - as it made very loud machine noises when attemping to start. The microwave didn't work. And the toaster worked only while holding down the lever. We didn't attempt to use the in-unit shower, which has height limit of approx. 5'10". The unit had an unpleasant musty/mildew odor indicating that it likely hadn't been aired out for a while. Bottom line, it could use some TLC maintenance & updates (especially a new sofabed and functioning microwave). On the plus - It was a quiet & peaceful area, the communal bath & shower was well maintained, and the neighbors / adjacent RV residents were friendly.

Well worth it

My only criticism is that it was a little far to my son’s house in Cloquet. Otherwise, John John has a great place to stay!

Peaceful place to stay while I was visiting the to run a marathon. The heater did not work (furnace made a very loud screeching noise and no heat came out of it vent), the plug for the microwave did not work, and I had to wait hours for someone to come help with propane so I could use the stove to heat up food after running a marathon. The remote also had no batteries, so there was no way to watch tv. For the price, it was not worth it, but it was the only option that was “affordable” in the area at the time.
