NEOS started its adventure in June 2001. Its inaugural flight took off just under a year later in March 2002 from Milan Malpensa airport to Senegal. Later that year in October 2002, the Italian airline launched regular flights. In 2003 it started offering flights to popular destinations including the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean. With its successful trajectory continuing, the airline launched long-haul flights in December 2004. It maintains its strong Northern Italy roots, adding bases in Verona and Bologna, and its famously warm hospitality. NEOS has steadily expanded its destinations to 5 continents with direct flights to over 60 destinations.

With NEOS' in-flight entertainment and Wi-Fi, your flight is sure to go smoothly. Take advantage of the state-of-the-art entertainment to lay back, relax, and enjoy the journey. If you’re a film fanatic you can select one of the 60 films in 5 languages, or you can close your eyes and listen to 300 songs. Younger passengers will stay entertained with the different games, while you browse the shopping and bar catalog. When you’re traveling, one of the things that can be an inconvenience is the lack of Wi-Fi. So, NEOS ensures that you can stay connected to work, family, and friends, even when traveling the skies

Our staff prides themselves on doing everything possible so that passengers feel relaxed, safe, and well taken care of. Meals
Try the delicious flavors of Italy on board. NEOS selects some of the best national dishes to suit all tastebuds. From eggplant caponata and lasagne to gourmet Dolcetto beef, there’s something for everyone. Depending on your flight time, our staff will provide passengers with a sweet morning treat, a main course, or a light snack. NEOS also makes sure to offer special meals for specific dietary requirements, including gluten-free and vegan options. We don’t want to leave anyone out from the enjoyment of sampling tasty Italian recipes. You can request these meals during the booking process.
Children on board
We want all our passengers to travel comfortably and enjoy their time on board, including the younger ones. NEOS attends to everything your little one could need. From exciting cartoons and action films to mini menus for those smaller tastebuds. Our team makes sure that parents have everything they need for their children, including cots for those under 2.
Our flights: unique travel experience
Traveling by plane is a great way to see the world from a unique persepctive. Whether you’re flying for business or pleasure, NEOS provides a fleet of planes in which every aspect of the flight is designed to provide maximum comfort and convenience. We currently have 6 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, 5 Boeing 737-800W, and 4 Boeing 787-8. The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner offers a more comfortable travel experience with 359 seats which includes Economy, Economy Extra Plus, Economy Extra, and Premium Class. The Boeing 737-800W and Boeing 737-8 provide 186 single-class seats with the option to upgrade to Extra Economy.
