When we checked in and went to our room, the AC was off, and it took forever for the room to cool down. The shower drain was also clogged. For the price, I expected much better. The drinks and food were much more expensive than what I would normally pay in the U.S. Overall, I feel like this place is way overrated and definitely not worth the price.

The staff was fantastic from start to finish, the food was excellent, and the property itself is beautiful. There are plenty of activities available right on the grounds, which makes it easy to enjoy the area without constantly having to leave the property. Everything felt well run and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend The Lodge at Pico Bonito and would happily stay again.
