We made the horrible mistake of forgetting our passport at the hotel and thankfully the staff quickly recovered it from the room and headed off to a trusted taxi company ( nova taxi) which then delivered to the airport in time for departure. Thank you Sol Tropikal staff

I had a very late check in and there was no issues. Front desk staff was very helpful and valet attendant brought up my bags. Great experience.

If you want three star Benidorm on a five star package this is the Melia for you. A hotel loses its luxury title when it’s full of families and kids. It instantly diminishes the whole experience if you’re travelling as adults only. It might have good cuisine s d restaurants but when kids are running around and screaming that is NOT a luxury experience. Cheap music pumped through speakers pool side every day. Loud music played around the pool for water aerobics. And for some reason the Benny Hill theme tune being blasted from somewhere on the complex that was even louder than the music around the pool. Beautiful beach bar but we walked out after 20 minutes of waiting for the table to be cleared and to be served. The beach is beautiful but it’s polluted with permanent sun shades. Which means you cannot actually see the sea from the beach bar or take advantage of the absolutely stunning sun set there!!!!! There is no where to have a quiet drink without kids running around uou!!! If you want an adult only holiday there then they extort more money out of you to join the ‘Level’. Sorry this is just extortion. And if you don’t want an All Inclusive package such as the Level then tough. You simply cannot just pay to use the roof top pools like the Intercontinental Hotrl in Malta for example. This hotel is Melia by name only. Sorry but I cannot recommend this hotel if you’re looking for Adult only experience without the extra costs.

We were a huge party of 14, and the hotel was fantastic. The views are stunning, great staff and amazing spa.

We had a very enjoyable stay at MAK Hotel Albania and found the location to be one of its biggest strengths. It’s perfectly situated near the new stadium, restaurants, and the city centre, so there was plenty going on nearby, especially at night. At the same time, the hotel is tucked right beside the park, which gave it a quieter, more peaceful feel than you might expect in such a central area. There was significant construction underway on the first three floors during our stay, but since we were on the fifth floor and there was no work over the weekend, it was only a minor issue. The rooms are a little dated in terms of the TV and furniture, but everything was clean, in good condition, and comfortable. The rooms were also fairly large, which made the stay feel more practical and good value overall. The outdoor pool was a real highlight and absolutely perfect in the intense summer heat. With the hotel being very walkable to the city centre and main square, we felt it offered a great balance of convenience, comfort, and value.

Poor start at reception when my reservation could not be found for some minutes. This is the first time in using hotels.com app this has ever happened ever, so I believe it was the reception staff not hotels.com. Also there was an attempt to charge us for coffees at breakfast - as breakfast includes coffee only from a machine placed nowhere near the buffet - which we should know as they never have to tell anybody. So after being accused of being disrespectful of staff and rude it spoilt an otherwise great stay.

J avais réserver une chambre deluxe avec vue mer or à notre arrivée la chambre était déjà prise. Nous avons été placé pour la 1ère nuit dans une chambre temporaire dont la salle de bain n avait pas été nettoyé et où il y avait peu de luminosité… nous avons toute fois obtenu une baisse du prix pour ce désagrément. Ensuite pour les 2 nuits restantes nous avons eu une chambre standard (et non deluxe) sans vue mer mais avec un balcon… De plus dans l’annonce nous devions avoir la clim mais nous n’avons eu qu’un ventilateur. Le petit déjeuner était très bon et bien garnis le premier jour mais beaucoup moins les deux autre matin. Le bâtiment est toujours en travaux donc il y avait des zones de travaux et des ouvriers sur places soit devant notre balcon soit pendant que nous prenions le petit déjeuner. Malgré tout le personnel et le patron sont vraiment très gentil et il est possible de tout faire à pieds (10-15 min). Dans l’ensemble pour le prix c’était très correct juste déception de ne pas voir eu ce que j avais choisi.

Staff were curteous and friendly. The food was also really good. Very clean and serene. Lovely spa
