It was a comfortable cabin for the two of us, clean and well equipped (except for the blunt kitchen knives - my pet peeve). The floor level on our cabin was a little uneven, i.e. not level but sloping - nothing really problematic but it felt a bit weird. "We had the most wonderful 2-night stay at The Anchorage to celebrate my husband’s birthday, and it exceeded all our expectations.

"A family-friendly place with beautiful pool, splash zone, playground and jumping pad. The river view cabins really do have a full view of the river. The boardwalk is lovely but very short. At one end is a stagnant lagoon that smells awful, but at the other end it's a beautiful broad platform with tables and a fantastic view. Everything is clean - amenities, cabins, pathways. The pedal cars are very worn and well beyond the point of being adjustable. The seat popped off ours mid-ride but luckily...

"My partner and I stayed there for 2 nights we were impressed very clean bed comfortable loads of room the only thing the blind in kitchen didn’t seem to closed properly making our light at night wasn’t good and the bathroom was cleaned but could do with a makeover a bit old fashioned but other than that staff were friendly and it the location and room was perfect we will return"
