Always a friendly welcome at Axis Hotel. Convenient location, tidy rooms, and decent restaurant options at a great price. Stayed four separate times for work and would highly recommend

The room was large and very nice with great amenities. We also really enjoyed going to the private and shaded garden with a glass of wine to relax in peace and quiet.

The staff was very courteous and friendly. However, the room we were assigned on the first night was quite a shock. The shower was located in the bedroom with only a single glass wall for separation. There was no sofa and only one chair in the room, as well as just one small bath towel provided. Overall, the room felt more like a closet than a proper hotel room. Given the price we paid, we expected a much more decent accommodation. The following day, I requested a different room, which we received that evening. This room was significantly better and met our expectations. That said, I believe a discount should have been offered for the first night, which unfortunately did not happen. Overall, the hotel is very clean and modern.

The location of the hotel cannot be beat. Close to everything but tucked away for quiet nights. Fantastic.

The breakfast options were not fantastic or very varied, just adequate but Bruges is lovely with great restaurants so that wasn’t a problem at all. The shampoo and soaps also came in really tiny bottles but I would stay at Sablon again.
