The house was very clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained, which we really appreciated during our stay. However, there were two downsides to be aware of. First, after booking, the owner asked us to pay an extra money for cleaning fee, even though it was not clearly listed in the Expedia booking details. I chose not to argue since I didn’t want to ruin our family trip, but future guests should expect additional charges. Second, privacy was an issue the owner lives in the basement, and it felt uncomfortable at times, especially with my child playing and moving around. Overall, it’s a nice property, but keep in mind the extra costs and limited privacy.

The gentleman at the front desk who helped me out, (C Note) you know who you are, was fantastic! All the young men who worked the front bell stand are absolutely fantastic as well! Everybody there was just absolutely fantastic and phenomenal!

Great location, minutes walk distance to UVA and several restaurants. Very nice hotel owner and her dog. Cozy room and comfortable king bed. Excellent homemade breakfast. We’ll come back! Strong recommend to others.

This property is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I are looking forward to returning soon when we can spend more time there.
Our host, Michael was wonderful. He checked on us from the time we made the reservation, during our stay and followed up afterwards to make sure we were satisfied with our stay!
I highly recommend The Jillian Price House.
