Newark Cheap Vacations

The hotel location is good next to Newark Penn station. The condition of property is just okay..leaning more towards the ageing side. The staff from drivers to reception to bags/security team were extremely rude and arrogant. The only exception was housekeeping staff which was friendly. Otherwise, the staff just had a false sense of some fake entitlement or perhaps frustration. Let alone a hotel’s sense of hospitality, I didn’t even get basic decent customer service respect. If you wanna choose this - choose for location or budget but try to ignore staff. Or as a fellow guest said at least until the reception staff is swapped with some robots. One more example of I don’t give a damn to customer is their airport pick up shuttle- their website and automated phone line says they pick up from Newark airport P3 every 30 min, but it didn’t show up despite me waiting at P3 for over 45 min- only to learn later that guests need to call to get shuttle. No problem with that arrangement but I’m not sure how does the hotel assume guests to just know this arrangement with conflicting information on website and phone line.
