Our room was clean and smelled of disinfectant when we arrived, which is much better than other smells I've encountered in hotel rooms. We were only staying one night, but had an early doctor appointment, so I had brought my own pillow; the pillows on the bed were really odd, almost seemed like some sort of disposable pillow and TheHubs didn't like them at all. The bed was comfortable and the linens had no discernible smells to them (I am very put off by odd smells). The decor in the room was very dated, but since it was one night I'm not gonna complain about dated decor. The only staff we encountered was the front desk guy, who was quite friendly and professional. The continental breakfast was a pathetic joke: there were sausages but no eggs. There were some bagels, but no danish to speak of: the danish that was there was dry and tasteless and was about the size of a ChipsAhoy cookie (I ate one bc I had the long doctor appointment that morning and felt I should try to get something in my stomach). TheHubs said the sausages didn't taste like sausages and thought they were possibly turkey sausage instead of pork. Don't count on actually getting a continental breakfast if you are staying here. The elevator was out and it appeared that the few customers who were there were all being placed on the first floor bc of that. It was not very quiet and future upgrades need to stress sound proofing. Hair dryer worked but hadn't been cleaned in probably ever.
