I was surprised that a 4-star hotel at this price does not have an iron (instead you must pay for a pressing service which is completely cheeky considering the price of the room). Additionally, the lady checking us in was unfriendly and unhelpful. When we checked in there was no record of our booking despite my email receipt which proved payment and we were kept waiting for the best part of an hour and were made to feel that it was our fault. There was very little apology whatsoever once they finally found our booking and allowed us to check in. The outside of the building is dilapidated and requires renovation. Inside of the room there was no conditioner which I was also surprised at considering it is 4 star. However I will say that the view was beautiful and breakfast was tasty. The staff are breakfast were very polite and friendly. Despite this though, I would not choose to stay again.

Un séjour parfait. L'accueil est au top, la chambre et la literie sont irréprochables. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis et chouchoutés du début à la fin. Côté table, les cocktails, le restaurant et le petit-déjeuner étaient tout simplement excellents. Le cadre, raffiné et au standing un peu rétro, offre une véritable bulle de douceur. Les piscines avec des horaires larges nous ont permis de nous relaxer, nous n avons pas testé le spa , ce sera pour une prochaine fois. Seul petit bémol : l'accès à une restauration plus simple et plus abordable le soir après 18h serait un plus appréciable.

We had a wonderful vacation! The rooms, buildings, and pools were awesome! We ate out in town mostly but the breakfast buffet came in clutch on travel days and excursion days. It had a great selection and was pretty good. The only thing is the lunch options weren’t that great. They didn’t have a ton of Portuguese food options and I thought they would have poncha since it’s such a famous drink. But overall it was a wonderful stay and a wonderful vacation! I highly recommend!

Clean spacious room lovely balcony with great view excellent pool super staff
