The hotel is in a run down area, far out from the city center. Staff are polite but lack enthusiasm. The breakfast is cold and basic. What's supposed to be hot food is lukewarm, pots kept warm by a glow candle underneath. Dinner service is OK,the staff lack enthusiasm here as well,managed by some little man manager called Evil. He walks around with alcohol in hand, in a poor quality 'suit' with no regard to the team or guests. He is what lets the place down. If anyone ever needs to have dinner, I recommend the corner shop up the road,the hotel will provide hot water for your pot noodle. Alot better than the cold pasta and chunky chips they serve. House keeping is the one area that is excellent. The house keeping staff and manager are polite and thorough. The place is cheap for a reason. Evil the manager needs to remember he is there to serve customers not drown in free alcohol.

Staff was great- but- jacuzzi took 8+ hours to heat, we were told 2. heated towel rack did not work. shower pressure too low, shower products cheap, only plastic cups in room, no glasses, Refridge only holds drinks they provided, we could not control temperature in the room, when asked to correct it still stayed too hot. my wife had to sleep in the living room area with the windows open . Edna at the desk was a great help for everything. It just seemed like the room had not been checked out prior to our check-in. breakfast buffet was good. Edna did send up a bottle of champagne for the inconvenience we had.

I have had an issue with the room. They gave me a room different than what I selected when I first booked. Then they moved my room to something more renovated but smelt nasty. I told them the room terribly smells bad all they did was spray more to cover but the smell got worse. Third room service opened the room in us while we were asleep. I wouldn’t come here again. Also the pool was under maintenance that ruined our stay.
