El Bajio Golf Vacations

Beautiful property and my room was great. I traveled to Leon for a quinceañera taking place on a Sunday. However unbeknownst to me, there was apparently some maintenance issue where the water would be off for a certain time period on a Sunday. When I got back to the hotel after a morning of sightseeing I discovered there was no water coming out from the sink or shower. I called down and to my horror they said it wouldn’t be back on for another hour. I was unable to shower. I had to brush my teeth wash my armpits and wash my face with bottled water! I received zero notice about this maintenance water shutoff, none, even though they claimed to have sent some type of notice. I went back down the following day and was told someone would be getting back to me about some type of reimbursement for that day and free breakfast for the last two days I was there. That was Aug 2. It is now Aug 13. No word from the hotel management yet. I had to call again today and still have not received any call or email from upper management about this horrible experience. Do better Hotsson!

The hacienda style is very unique and nice. Bedrooms need better maintenance. Carpets need deep cleaning. More water should be provided to rooms given that it Mexico you cannot drink tap water safely.

Bonito hotel

We had a wonderful day at the Rosewood in San Miguel de Allende. The staff was amazing. The rooms were spotless and would be clean twice a day, including the turndown service. Every night we were given a small gift with a note that related to the region. The staff at the restaurants were extremely kind, attentive, and personable. This was hands-down one of my best hotel experiences.

Highly, highly recommend Casa de Sierra Nevada. The hospitality was greater than we have ever experienced at any hotel and/or resort. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful, but in a genuine manner. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the room in which we stayed was large and well-appointed, including two separate seating areas, a large bathroom and heated plunge pool, as well as a stocked minibar with high-end spirit options (Deluxe Superior One Bedroom). The location is perfect for walking throughout the central district, with the main square being approximately 2 blocks northwest of the property and the park being 3 blocks to the south. This was preferable to the other hotel we were considering, The Rosewood San Miguel, as it is a relatively significant uphill walk to the square/shops from the Rosewood. In addition, the breakfast at the hotel was arguably our best meal of the day, which is considerable given the excellent restaurant options in San Miguel. We will absolutely choose to stay at this hotel again.

A/C which was nice. Room was spacious and comfortable. The property was old, as expected. Lots of character. Really good location. But parking was a bit challenging, possibly due to large event. Also, most all parking lots have limited hours so you can't access your car whenever you want. Still, I recommend the hotel.
