It was a quaint hotel like a b & b italian style. The food is pretty pricey in the taverna but the staff is very helpful. If i went back .. which is unlikely i would definately stay there.

Beautiful building and I had a nice room with a view, aircon worked well for me but for others in my party it didn't always work efficiently and it was very hot when we there in July. The bar is disappointing, very small area inside with no outlook. The hotel is at the top of a very steep hill which made it quite a difficult walk (I'm 71 and quite fit). Very difficult to get taxis from the town, they don't seem to run after 8pm. The breakfast was quite good and gardens are beautiful.

A wonderful place to stay at the end of an Italy trip if renting a car. Only about 45 minutes to an hour from FCO. One of our favorite travel discoveries. Near Frascati (see Stanley Tucci's Lazio episode). Ridiculously low rate for such a great property.

We stayed in the apartment with our own deck looking over the lake. Absolutely loved it. It was a little separate from hotel, which was fine. The breakfast included was perfect, with a patio with fabulous lake views. Recommend!
