Great and helpful staff beautiful pool and amenities

We visited during the low season, so the resort was quiet and it often felt like we had the island to ourselves. We had a private pool with our room, although we did not use it much as the resort was quiet and the main pool was enjoyable. The private pool itself was nice, although there were some areas that could benefit from maintenance. For example, the handrail showed some rust, and some of the nails on the outdoor floorboards appeared to need securing and were also slightly rusty. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. However, there are other resorts of a similar standard that offer a more affordable option.

First off , the staff.. so so amazing. I had gotten food poisoning from a tour I did, and they were so helpful keeping me hydrated and had tablets to let me enjoy my vacation. The food options were great, many options. This can just be your stay without ever visiting town. The view was jaw dropping everyday. Aircon was strong , even had to turn it off it got so cold. Room was well kept , and no issues with mosquitos unless you kept door open. Cons might be the cost of getting into town, cost 2.5k per way. So plan for that cost as fuel prices are taking a toll on transport. Also there is a 22 percent tax on all food, but the prices of food are cheap enough that you don’t notice. The complaints I see online don’t seem fair. They are very misguided. This is a five star stay. They have great activities , and amazing amazing spa. Only $15 for the top massage for 2 hours and scrub. I will stay here again, only difference is I’ll rent a car as you are hour outside of coron town.

Good experience travelling for work

My wife and I booked one night at the Quest in Alabang. My wife had an appointment at the nearby Asian Hospital early the next morning. We arrived to check in at about 4pm. The young man who helped us said our room was not ready. We said OK and waited about 30 minutes while the young man made phone calls. Eventually, the young man disappeared. Then we asked a young lady at the reception desk to help us check in. She helped us and had a room for us, although she warned that sometimes there is no hot water and that the water from the taps may be dirty...! We were too tired to leave and find another hotel, so we took our key and went up to the room. When we went to the room, we found the door ajar, the water in the bathroom sink running, and the sink coated with black, dirt-like debris. We were too tired at this point to complain, so we just turned the water off and started to settle in. The debris was crusted in the sink; we had to just leave it there. The internet codes we were given did not work and we badly needed to get online. We went back downstairs to the concierge, but he also could not make our codes work. He used his own login credentials to attach our phones to a different WIFI network. The place wasn't all bad. The beds were comfortable and clean. Except for the bathroom sink, the bathroom was clean. The parking was free and convenient. But I'm sure there are better places to stay in Alabang. We will not stay at this place again.
