Southern Milan Mountain Vacations and Getaways

I did not think the hotel was worth what I paid for. Pretty pricey. The staff was not very welcoming when I arrived. No smiles whenever we'd come and go. Very disappointed. Also, the room was very small. The plus side is it was close to the metro. The train is very close to the duomo and historic center.

Overall, our stay at the hotel was okay. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, we had some minor issues. We expected more from a four-star hotel, perhaps because we’re not familiar with Italian hotel practices. For example, they only provided body wash, so we had to buy our own shampoo. The air conditioning wasn’t cold enough, making it difficult to sleep if you prefer a chilly room. Still water is only available on the ground floor. While they made our beds every day, they didn’t change the bed linens, which wasn’t a problem for us since we usually take a bath before bed. However, if you prefer daily bed linens, this might be an issue.

The position is very good. Next to a mall, next to Milan, and next to Monza, where we spent the week for the F1 Grand Prix. The people were very nice and friendly. Everything was according to our expectations. Thank you!!!

If I could give Villa Crespi 20 stars, I would! 🌟 We have stayed at many beautiful hotels, but Villa Crespi has completely redefined hospitality for us. We left feeling genuinely cared for—and perhaps a little spoiled for every hotel that comes after! From arrival, every detail was effortless. We were welcomed with cold water, the staff arranged our anniversary dinner, drove us there, escorted us inside to explain that we were their guests and mention my dietary restrictions, then returned to pick us up. The next morning, the staff surprised me with freshly prepared gluten-free breads, cream-filled croissants and chocolate torte. Knowing we had a boat trip planned, they created an extraordinary picnic for us: beautifully prepared sandwiches, snacks, chilled sparkling water, champagne on ice with glasses, fresh towels, and even tea-tree-infused refreshing towels for after swimming. They drove us to and from the boat as well. Our room was magnificent, with an extraordinary view, a comfortable bed and every amenity imaginable. Even our departure was thoughtful: cold waters waiting inside of the car, and we were given gifts from their kitchen to take home. This is what true 5 star hospitality means: not just luxury, but anticipating a guest’s needs before they ask. We were so moved by the warmth and thoughtfulness of the entire staff that that I left handwritten thank-you notes—something I have never done before. This was more than a hotel stay- it was an experience. 🌟

Great staff. Beautiful accommodations. Extremely clean. Wonderful breakfast.

Clean room and well maintained property

This hotel was a highlight of our stay in Italy. Everything was exceptional from the service to the rooms to the amenities to the location. Excellent base to go exploring the track or the city. One of our top three meals ever - if you stay please book the restaurant and get the tasting menu. Outstanding experience and great value.

Definitely didn’t appreciate being woken up at 8 am by construction. They can’t control the street construction but drilling inside the hotel is a bit much. Also absolutely no counter space in the bathroom to place any of your hygiene or makeup products. The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked well. We stayed at 4 other hotels in Italy during this same trip and they all had breakfast included with the exact same items give or take so I’m not sure why breakfast is so expensive, you can grab breakfast at a nearby bar for like 8 euros for two people.
