Clean, comfortable, and close to the center of Puerto Ayora. The hosts are friendly and helpful and easy to reach. It was a wonderful week, and truly getting back each day and taking a dip in the pool before supper was a highlight.

This is one of the best properties in the city. The bathroom was the best I saw while visiting the other shops/businesses. The staff is great; they provide a home cooked breakfast everyday and it is a spread for only one person cooking it! Your AC works great, only the room is AC. The bathroom is open air. There is no elevator and the the rooms are either on the 2nd floor or 3rd floor FYI. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Galapagos. This place offered great luxury and enhanced our stay in the islands.

Excellent location!

We had such an amazing stay at Hotel Angermeyer, I can't wait to go back. Everything was perfect - the staff was wonderful (thank you David and Maria for being so welcoming throughout our stay!). The restaurant was delicious with amazing sea views including sharks and seals, and we wound up eating several meals there. They were kind enough to pack us breakfast to-go on days when we had early excursions, and helped us call water taxis both early in the morning and when we stayed out late. The rooms were nice and big and had lovely amenities, and our turndown service was such a nice touch. If you are worried about the location not being on the main strip of town, don't be - it was always super easy to grab a $1 water taxi, and there was a nice beach a short walk away. Hotel Angermeyer can't be missed!
