Long Island Pet-friendly Vacations

My room was clean went to eat breakfast and the boarders were dirty I remember eating and looking at the dirt my room however the shower water was hot enough to cook pasta almost burnt my skin off and the water wouldn’t adjust and than quickly realized the water wasn’t going down the drain it was backed up I called front desk repeatedly and no one answered and kept going to voicemail finally when someone came. I was already too tired and went to sleep. It took the water almost 45 minutes to dissolve and go down the drain that shouldn’t be in such a high class place. I was very disappointed bringing my friend there to show him the property and give him history on the property and it just wasn’t good. However, the cleaning staff was very nice and the people in general staying there were nice. Also, the landscape was beautiful. They were preparing for a wedding outside and it seems like most of the staff was geared toward the wedding, but forgetting about the clientele that you have inside, I felt very neglected by the front desk staff

We recently stayed here for a last minute weekend getaway, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we walked through the doors the lobby smell and decor was welcoming. And the flavored water was an excellent touch. ​The front desk team was incredibly welcoming and managed to check us in early without any hassle. Every staff member we encountered—from Housekeeping was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. Our room was clean and beautifully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable (we slept like babies!).

While the room was clean and bug free, it was not maintained well at all. Very dated and not modern at all. EG: the bathroom door was coming off the hinges and not secured properly. The bathroom sink had spider cracked in the basin and the desk chair was falling apart to the extent I wouldn’t take not chance sitting on it. All reported to the front desk and the only thing they did was replace the desk chair. Would I go back to this location? No way.

Only downfall was the TV glitched over and over. It happened downstairs at the sitting area also so it was more then likely the service and not the individual room.
