Addu Atoll Pet-friendly Vacations

Absolutely fantastic stay- we were met at Male airport and looked after to our flight to Ifuru Island which is outstanding. All the staff looked after us with extreme courtesy and were extremely welcoming. Everywhere was very clean and cared for and the food very variable and to a high standard. Snorkelling was amazing we saw fish/stingrays/reef sharks/turtles/ resident heron. On our return we were met again at Male airport and looked after and helped to check in for our flight home. Cannot recommend this Island strongly enough ! ALL the staff were very dedicated and very hard working and so sorry can’t remember everyone’s names but very much felt a warm/friendly/family atmosphere. Shout out to: Monika, Tharaka, Sara, Diva, Donni, manager of waterfront(sorry don’t know name), Shiyaau, Basse, Pradeeb, Shiva, Raazan, Juli, Ahmed, Fraish (sorry if spelt wrong - captain of Komomo) thank you to everyone for a very special holiday

Heaven on earth

Just leaving after an amazing 7-day stay at Emerald Faaufushi. As a solo traveler here to celebrate my 50th birthday, the staff here made me feel so special, from my amazing villa host Tharif to the exceptional food and beverage team, receptionist, housekeeping, etc. This was truly a dream trip, and I cannot wait to come back. I stayed in a sunset overwater bungalow (327) which was exceptional. I could hear the ocean constantly, and having my own sun deck and pool was so worth the splurge. The food at all of the restaurants was incredible - my birthday dinner was at Carnivorous and the team there sang happy birthday and brought me a cake! The weather was much better than I expected - windy but I had 5 great days of sunshine. I used the gym four days of my trip and it was small but nicely appointed. I also enjoyed two spa days - again, exceptional staff and experiences. I can’t recommend this resort enough! Thank you all for making this a dream trip! Hope to see you again soon!

It is an amazing resort, and I was lucky enough to spend my birthday there. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, which made our stay truly special. We were especially impressed by Maniuu, who looked after us throughout our stay and made sure everything was perfect. We absolutely loved the sound and healing session overlooking the beach with the wonderful June – it was such a peaceful and unique experience. All of the restaurant staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was consistently good with great variety. The marine life around the resort is incredible. We saw sharks, many beautiful fish, and even manta rays, which was an unforgettable experience. The surroundings are simply stunning. We stayed in an overwater bungalow, which was fantastic – amazing views, a spacious and comfortable room, and the nets overlooking the ocean were my favourite spot to lie back, relax, and enjoy the scenery. I also received a birthday cake, which was not only delicious but such a thoughtful and lovely gesture. I truly felt spoiled. During our stay, we also took part in art classes with an amazing artist. I was genuinely surprised by how unhurried and detailed the experience was – he was incredibly patient, explained everything step by step, and we came away with a beautiful keepsake to remember our time there.
