This lovely gem had the most incredible view I’ve ever seen! The room was clean and had all the little things we needed for our stay. It has a very nice outdoor space for guests to use. We also saw a moose and her calf walking in the lake. I highly recommend this inn.

Nice little hotel that is way out of town and the road to it can be a mud river when it rains. The amenities were good but there is no staff on site.

Due to the tornados that came through Chicago, our flight was delayed by a day. Our reservation was for 3 days. I called the hotel when I realized our trip to Alaska was being delayed and asked to modify the reservation from 3 days to 2 days. I was told no problem and that it would be taken care of. Imagine my surprise when I was charged for 3 days instead of the 2 days we stayed there. I feel that since I called 3 days before the day we were supposed to arrive that I should have only been charged for the 2 days we stayed. It was hard to find this place because you check in at one place, under a different name and then you go to another place under a even different name to stay. Building was run down the elevator didn't work so we had to drag our suitcases up two flights of stairs, after we finally found which side of the building we were to go. There wasn't any type of numbers outside of building to let you know where to go. Grass and flower beds were overgrown. Our room was hot without air conditioning as we only had a very small window in the door going out to a small balcony. Our stay here was disappointing. Just beware!

One of the few hotels in Fairbanks that has the bathroom sink and mirror INSIDE the bathroom, rather than out in the bedroom area. Felt very homey and comfortable with card tables in the lobby and ice cream scoop for $1.50 every night. Books, games available for guests. Shuttle was convenient, drivers were friendly. Gym was definitely a plus. The breakfast was just OK, not exceptional, but overall we would stay there again.
