This was by far the most frightening hotel experience l've ever had. I checked in at around 1:40 a.m. as one guest. Three family members accompanied me only to help carry my luggage to the room before returning to their own nearby hotel as they were a group of youth male travelling together During check-in, the night receptionist asked me several times how many guests there would be, and I clearly stated that only I would be staying overnight and I would ho back and forth between two hotels as we are in jet lag with a bigger group of friends at the nearby hotel. He even offered me a room for four people, and I told him they would simply come upstairs to see the room and help with my luggage before leaving. A short time later, while I was in my room with the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, the night receptionist (I believe his name was Iva, working the night shift of July 23) suddenly banged aggressively three of four times on my door multiple times around 2:00 a.m just in less than a 8-10 mins after | went to the room. It was loud enough to frighten me and made my heart to beat. When I opened the door, he immediately shouted shakingly that I either pay for three additional guests or he would call the police!!!! I was completely shocked!!!! | repeatedly explained that I was the only registered guest staying overnight and that my company were simply helping me with my luggage and came to see if the place is safe enough to leave me and were about to leave. Good base. Pool was closed but reason we had chosen hotel. They dont clean room or empty bins for a week.

Quiet location but easy walking distance to main attractions, restaurants etc. Good breakfast. Would recommend to friends and would be very happy to return

The room was large and very nice with great amenities. We also really enjoyed going to the private and shaded garden with a glass of wine to relax in peace and quiet.

Lovely and accommodating staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. While the view from our room was amazing (over canal) the room was a bit small and dated.
