The shower in our room was ridiculously small. I am only 5'7 and 178 and had a very hard time just getting in and out . I actually scraped my side getting in yesterday. The floor in the room was dirty and the breakfast was just ok. The breakyvire was spectacular however. there is no way they can advertise this as a 4 star hotel. The restaurant Bondi directly across the street is absolutely phenomenal .

We had a wonderful stay at The Moon hotel. The staff are excellent and we had a speedy and very easy check in experience. The Moon is a beautiful, calm place slightly out of the central sights of Florence, but within an easy walk. Our rooms were beautiful. Great showers and the beds were so comfortable. We slept very well. Breakfast was of a high quality, the fresh egg dishes were delicious. If you like cake for breakfast, you will be spoilt for choice. We used the spa area which was lovely at the end of the day. If not included in your room deal it is extra and you need to book a slot. The hydrotherapy pool is not huge, but works well. Sauna and steam room were very good. Overall a wonderful experience and special thanks to Giorgio for his quick check in and excellent and friendly customer service throughout our stay.

Great location

Staying here was a wonderful and truly unique experience. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the challenges we had with the air conditioning in our room. That said, the staff really did make an effort to find a workaround for us. While it wasn’t a perfect solution, it definitely helped, and we appreciated how responsive and accommodating they were. The hotel itself is an old castle, and that alone makes staying here such a special experience. The property is beautiful, incredibly charming, and very well maintained. You simply can’t replicate the character, history, and ambiance that come with staying in a property like this. The setting and surroundings are beautiful. It was definitely one of those experiences that felt uniquely Italian and added something special to our trip. My only recommendation would be to visit when the temperatures aren’t quite as hot. Given the age and historic nature of the property, I can appreciate that modernizing certain things like the air conditioning may not be as straightforward as it would be in a newer hotel. During cooler weather, I imagine our experience would have been close to perfect. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and are glad we had the opportunity to experience such a beautiful and unique property. I would absolutely recommend it, just perhaps not during the hottest part of the summer!

Lovely hotel and great layout of two rooms with a shared bathroom for our suite. Located a 5 minute stroll to the sightseeing bus stop, which was great value for two days to be able To hop on and off. Doesn’t take you to the centre though with the Duomo and main sights. Parking available, but be careful crossing the tram tracks to get into the car park - which is very tight. Lovely staff

Such a beautiful and quiet property. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious and we enjoyed the spa as well!

Lovely hotel and great position in Florence. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely plenty of choice. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Perfect for the usual sightseeing !

Fantastic stay, thank you for the upgrade, spacious, cool rooms. Great location, walk to the station and across the road is a convenience store and great restaurants and gelato in the same street

Beautiful, high end hotel that mixes a cool vibe with traditional beauty. Great location.
