Good resort but poor beach

Dawn and the whole staff were fantastic. The whole island was set up for us to use at all times.

Clean rooms the house was absolutely perfect for our wedding group. We had some of the most amazing views and it was in a perfect location near the airport. An issues we had were dealt with immediately.

We had an incredible stay at Vatu Vonu. The accommodation was beautiful and the view exceeded our expectations. Seni and Waqa, along with their daughter JJ, went above and beyond to take care of us. From their warm welcome to the delicious meals they prepared, we felt so well looked after throughout our stay. Their kindness and genuine care made our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!

First things first - we had a lovely time here. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, it was a really chill vibe. The onsite restaurants were excellent, and it was easy to settle into a comfortable groove - especially if you embrace "Fiji time".. The beach was convenient with warm waters and good sand, and the shore snorkeling at the nearby reef was world class. I highly recommend a) snorkeling at or near high tide, pretty much in front of the neighboring Intercontinental hotel and b) signing up for the (free) guided snorkel that they run - having a knowledgeable guide helps you see things that you would otherwise miss. The WiFi was largely good, but I don't think you can rely on it to stream a movie over VPN for example, but it's great for web browsing and email etc. One thing to note: what makes it special is it's seclusion, it's a decent drive from the airport and there isn't a lot to do on foot from there, other than eating at the (expensive) intercontinental next door. So, plan accordingly. The major upside is the relaxation and serenity that comes with the location. We took a day cruise from Port Denauru with South Sea cruises, they included round trip shuttle from the hotel in the package, I'm sure other companies offer similar options. All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend the property.

Great stay, lots of restaurant options, staff are absolutely lovely, accommodated later checkout as well.

This a place that you just drop and relax Only five bures so it will never be busy The staff are just wonderful and just can’t do enough to assist No swimming off the beach or snorkeling but that can be achieved at the sand bar which is a short bit ride Having spent a bit time in other resorts this was a surprise as after a few days the peacefulness arrived and all the stresses stay to fade a way Well worth a drop for 5 days

Everything was really good overall, and I enjoyed my stay. However, I would appreciate it if the hotel could provide a wider range of TV channels, particularly Sky and sports channels. For such a large property, it was surprising that there were no Sky channels available and only a few basic TV channels. Many guests enjoy watching live sports, and the hotel welcomes travellers from a wide range of backgrounds, including Indian, Chinese, and other ethnic communities, who may appreciate having more diverse entertainment options. I would strongly recommend that the hotel consider adding Sky and other sports and international channels to better accommodate its guests. Thank you for considering this feedback.

Need 24hr room service for ppl who miss out on meal times if out doing activities and breakfast needs to have more standard westernised foods.,our whole stay nobody used the adult only pool as it was freezing cold an for some reason the kids pool had a swim up bar ,where the adult pool had nothing but deck chairs.,great idea to swap the areas as its very odd for a kids pool to have a swim up bar when adult pool has nothing. One last thing we noticed was between eating times you couldn't order any food as the kitchens were closed so had to go to the little store in the building an grab snacks.

Perfect resort for the family. Plenty to do. Moses at the marine education centre is the man to book activities with. Wealth of knowledge and a hidden gem.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Belo Vula resort! To get to the property you must take a ferry boat from Lautoka to Bekana Island. There was no extra charge for that ferry. You have your own bure (bungalow) right off the beach, about 25 yards from the ocean! Beautiful views! Life jackets and kayaks are free to use on your stay. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying at this location!

The staff here were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay. The place was spotless, the scenery was beautiful, and the food was amazing. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough!

A bit run down, nobody really there to serve guests. My bill was $1000 more than what we actually spent in 2 day stay, it took an hour for them to correct the $1900 extra they charged for a “helicopter ride” that never happened or was ordered. They never gave me my final bill at all and made me pay to leave on the boat. Pretty awful service but a pretty island.
