Great hotel, great location. We stayed for 2 nights with breakfast, the only fault was the breakfast as a westerner burgers fried chicken and pork skewers and chips are not for us , no toast or scrambled egg in sight shame as this let us down.

The most beautiful hotel with outstanding amenities and staff. The location was excellent right in the heart of a historic Kyoto neighborhood. We really enjoyed the history behind the building and how they preserved the elementary school memorabilia. The guest lounge is a wonderful option for afternoon tea or happy hour drinks. Breakfast was outstanding and all the staff were truly top notch. Would definitely go back!

Was absolutely the most amazing way to close out my 3-week trip in Japan. The rooms were beautiful, the hotel serene, and the service was outstanding. Make sure to book your room to include their delicious and exquisite breakfast. Beyond this, I was double upgraded to a room with a Bamboo Garden view.
