The staff was AMAZING. I cannot stress that any deduction was not due to anyone who worked there… However, the hallway had almost a permanent damp smell, and the air conditioner seemed to do nothing especially since it seemed like the heating was on everywhere else, and the pillows offered little to no support so the sleep was not great. Even with the windows open at night was not a great help. Would be tempted to stay again because of the staff and location…but would have serious doubts due to the other issues.

I booked the Shetland Suite not realising that it had a detached bathroom, it was only on arrival that this came to light, I was very disappointed & whilst the listing does state this I felt the title "suite" was misleading. The staff were very helpful, they were fully booked for our 1st night but offered to move us to a different room the next day, which they duly did and we were very grateful. The second room Arran Suite was well equipped & much bigger, the bath was on a raised platform with a seperate shower & toilet on either side of the bath, so this ended up acting as a roundabout. We had a peaceful stay as the guest house is set down a quiet street overlooking green space.

Lovely stay with family (2 adults and 2 children) in a family room. Booked on dinner, bed and breakfast package. Food was great. Enjoyed using the pool and gym. Hotel has good parking but is also walkable from Glasgow central station. Happy to recommend.

We booked this hotel for a concert a bit off a walk from the station but easier for what we were doing later on . The hotel was spotless staff really friendly . Had everything we needed and all the little touches were great . Would definitely book again
