Effective Date: May 8, 2023

• Expedia, Inc. (“EI”) is getting ready to launch the One Key program (“Program”) in the US to the public. Before doing so, EI is offering an early access beta version of the Program (the “Beta”) to select consumers for testing and evaluation. We thank you for your interest in the Beta.
• In order to be eligible for the Beta you must have created or have an existing Expedia®, Hotels.com® or Vrbo® account on the US-version of the site or app (for app, the region in phone settings must be set to US when the app was downloaded for Vrbo, and for Expedia/Hotels.com the app region settings must be set to US) and be signed into your account from the Effective Date. You must have the latest app version. Hotels.com credit card holders are not eligible to participate in the Beta. Participation in the Beta is offered on a select, invite-only basis for pre-existing account holders. Select new account holders will be required to participate in the Beta.
• Please note that the Beta is provided “as is.” Because we’re still testing things ourselves, EI does not make any specific promises or warranties — whether express or implied — about the Beta, including whether features will be available (including Program Benefits as defined in the Program terms), whether they will work as intended or described, or whether you will receive a consistent experience.
• By participating in the Beta, you will get early access to the Program and you will have one account that can be used across the US-version of Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo. But once you participate in the Beta, you will not be able to move back to the previous US-version of the Expedia Rewards or Hotels.com Rewards loyalty program(s), or to the previous US-version of your Vrbo account, if you had a pre-existing US account with these brands. Instead, you will be in the Beta until the general launch of the Program.
• You may end your participation in the Beta at any time by deleting your account. To find out more about how to delete your account, please click here.
• The Beta continues until either (a) you end your participation, as set forth above, or (b) the Program is launched.
• We will collect and process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Statement. In the context of your membership in the Program, we may use and share your personal data for various purposes, for example to perform our obligations under these Terms and Conditions, to send you promotional communications. You can exercise your data protection rights in various ways. For example, you can opt out of marketing by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in the emails, in your Account as applicable, or by contacting the relevant Participating Brand Customer Service Center: for Expedia, Hotels.com or Vrbo. Our Privacy Statement has more information about the options and data protection rights and choices available to you. You can find more information about your data protection rights, and how or why your personal data may be processed in our Privacy Statement for Expedia, Hotels.com and Vrbo.
• The One Key Terms and Conditions will apply to the Beta in addition to these Beta Terms and Conditions, and once the Beta concludes, will also apply to your participation in the Program.
• If there is any inconsistency between the One Key Terms & Conditions and the Beta Terms & Conditions, the Beta Terms & Conditions will prevail to the extent of any inconsistency.
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws specified in the Terms of Service.

Some things to note while participating in the Beta:

• You must be signed into your account to access the Beta experience. If you aren't signed in, you may continue to see references to the previous versions of the Expedia Rewards or Hotels.com Rewards loyalty programs.
• Once you join the Beta, you will start earning OneKeyCash™ on eligible travel completed on or after this date and, if you have a pre-existing Expedia Rewards or Hotels.com Rewards account, you will no longer earn Expedia Rewards points and/or Hotels.com Rewards stamps and reward nights.
• If you have a pre-existing Expedia Rewards or Hotels.com Rewards account, your new One Key status will be calculated for the day you join the Beta. For more information about what changes will be made to your account when you agree to participate in the Beta, visit expedia.com/one-key, hotels.com/one-key or vrbo.com/one-key.
• You may receive limited communications regarding your One Key account until the Program is fully launched.
• During the Beta, these features will only be available as described below:
  • Claims made under the Price Guarantee for Expedia and Hotels.com won’t be offered in OneKeyCash during the Beta but will be offered under existing terms;
  • Price Drop Protection for Gold and Platinum members will not be available in Spanish or Chinese;
  • Some OneKeyCash and trip element calculations and confirmation periods may vary from what is set out in the One Key Terms and Conditions.
• You may continue to see references to the previous versions of the Expedia Rewards or Hotels.com Rewards loyalty programs. You may still receive emails regarding your previous Expedia Rewards or Hotels.com Rewards program while participating in the Beta. Please disregard these communications if you do receive these.
• You may be asked to provide your feedback on the Beta on a voluntary basis either by a survey pop up onsite, on the app or by email, which we will use to improve the One Key experience.
