Hotel JAL City Nagoya Nishiki
We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights and breakfast buffet. It was a 15 minute walk to Nagoya Station or take a taxi for 1300 yen.. there is a Mega Don Quixote less than 5 minutes for groceries,liquor, and other essentials.

Clean and very big room with all the necessary ameneties - the prívate onsen are amazing. My only sugestión is that the location is quite isolated probably next time we would choose another one but the room 10/10

Residence Hotel Takayama Station
Room was clean and staffs was friendly, they offer access to the onsen of another hotel (10 minutes walk) which belongs to the same group.
