Weekend getaways in Helena

We had just a quick stay, but hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel doing renovations so they were moving things a little too early on sunday morning for me! Didn't affect me in my room so much but when we went to breakfast and came down the elevator the outside door was open and it was quite a wake up call (before coffee too!) I hope they finish quickly cuz it's a really nice hotel, right downtown!

This was the best Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed in! Colleen (the owner) was so wonderful and personable, and she made sure that we were very well taken care of. Everything was super clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was superb! I especially loved the quaintness and detailed decor of this lovely old house. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Always stay here when we come to Helena, Mt. to visit. Great place! Consistently clean, extremely 'Montana' friendly staff, great breakfast! Home away from home for sure!

Staff is always fantastic

I would always choose lamplight over some of the other hotels in town. They really know how to make it a home away from home. The only downside I will note is we were in a shared house, us up front and another group of people who got the back and upstairs. The guests behind were very loud amd kept trying to get the door between our room and theirs open. Very rough to sleep through when a drunk keeps yelling and slamming on that door. If you do stay in the house be careful when taking a shower,...

This hotel was staffed with exceptionally friendly people. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet! After having had some recent bad hotel experiences this was a nice change and a relaxing choice. The breakfast was a full choice selection as well (even with square eggs), it is good to have a not just doughnut options. Fresh fruit, awesome. Would recommend it again :)

The front desk team at this property always goes above and beyond to accommodate my needs. And the early morning breakfast team never disappoints. Overall a great property that delivers a consistently positive experience.

The manager was super friendly and approachable. The hot breakfast items were tasty and abundant. The beds clean and comfy.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable and the chef made breakfast was excellent!

Stayed here a few times and will only here from now on when I visit Helena.

Friendly people, good food, clean rooms..... the elevator was so funny. Baggage cart had to go in sideways to fit. Hardly got us both in with it. We made it though. Renovations happening so I'm sure this will be an even better hotel. Love the staircase. We would stay there again

The desk clerk was very friendly and got me checked in very quickly. The room was clean, but the bed is hard with this uncomfortable pillows. The parking lot is lit up like daylight and the drapes are thin enough that it keeps the room so light that it's difficult to sleep.

It was fine, served our minimal purpose of sleeping for a night without breakfast, swimming, etc. But the entry, dining, elevator appearance and speed, the functioning door locks and cards, beds, tv, lighting was all fine. Carpets were a little gross, bathroom fan didn't work but no biggee to air out with door open, AC was quiet and reliable at auto temp, nightstand a little small for CPAP, office chair was broken but I didn't need to use it, towels, rags, tissue, soaps/shampoos/conditioners,...
