Great place to stay if you are visiting Blue Mountains. With car hire we were able to get to activities early before the hoards on buses came in from Sydney. This hotel may not look like much from the outside but rooms are wonderful inside with solid wood everywhere and very well maintained. This was a great Motor Inn in the Blue Mountains. Clean and comfortable!

Very charming cottage with gourmet kitchen and enchanting yard. Single indoor bathroom may slow family prep time a little, but in warmer months the attached bathroom on back deck would be usable. Plenty of space and tidy

Marty was an excellent communicator, and the breakfast was excellent. The location, steps away from the wentworth falls trails trailhead, was exceptional.

Really friendly and helpful couple, Lew and Catherine, own a gorgeous manor with incredible views of the blue mountains! They served a fabulous breakfast. Two cozy nights; would gladly stay again! :-)

We only stayed two days while exploring the Blue Mountains but the Chalet was just as exciting to explore with wall to wall art and charm, even the colorful Rainbow Lorikeet outside entertained us while having breakfast.

We needed a place to stay overnight as we drove from Sydney to Dubbo. We were pleasantly surprised with the Black Gold Motel! The rooms were simple but clean. Water pressure, hot water, linens all very good. But really the exceptional breakfast won us over.

Great place and very convenient for the Park walks. You did need a car in order to go anywhere else. Also had to washer dryer and was very clean.

Everything was perfect! The old world charm of the hotel is amazing and we will stay here again on our next trip to Katoomba.
