Weekend getaways in Leighton Buzzard

The room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable! Our room (#8) had a door that opened directly to the car park which made it super easy to load and unload luggage as well as easy access to walk the dog. The shower was a bit tricky to figure out but worked perfectly once sorted. Staff was super, friendly and helpful. We were disappointed that the kitchen was closed the night we arrived so dinner was peanuts and cocktails but it was still ok! The breakfast was freshly prepared...

This is cheap and thats what we needed for the late check in and early check out.. Great staff washed our clothes and helped with.bed sheets thank you

Nice place, would stay again if in area.

The property is almost on Silverstone racetrack and the rack was busy the whole time. Lots of small, very fast, racecars plus other tricked out cars watched from the roof deck or the restuarant. The accommodation is spacious, interesting and comfortable, there are sculptures scattered through the grounds and each "room" has a deck or balcony with views of interesting landscaping or for more money fantastic views of the track. The staff were friendly and efficient and the food was very nice,...

The staff make this old pub a unique experience: from check in, breakfast and the late check out offered by the room-cleaner, everyone treats visitors as special guests.

We stayed at this hotel to attend a race at Silverstone, which is a short drive away. For some reason we had an accessibility room, and the bathroom was a little weird. The drain made strange noise, but otherwise everything was fine. There are some nice small shops and restaurants withing walking distance. Plenty of room in the car park.

Fantastic value for money and the location from the motorway way super handy. We checked in late at night as we needed to night stop as we were exhausted from driving. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was fantastic and had so many options for all tastes!

Our stay at the Lion was excellent. The only complaint was that the door to our room wouldn't lock, but other than that everything was great. I would definitely stay there again. Great location for shopping at Bicester Village and a short drive to Bleinheim Palace.

Need to put coffee cups out for coffee machine in Annex building....and coffee and milk and stirrers and sugar.
