Weekend getaways in Sister Bay

This was our second stay at Open Hearth and honestly, I don't think I will ever stay anywhere else. From the owners being more than accommodating (WIFI wasn't working in our room, it was fixed in 5 minutes), to the overall staff friendlyness, to the clean room and amazing breakfast (ok, lets talk about that pancake machine - AMAZING!!) This was a great experience. Bed was a little hard for my liking, but can't win everything.... and everything else was PERFECT!

If you are looking for a simple, but fantastic place to stay in Door County, look no further! Brand new, and just steps from Main street in Sister Bay, this is now our favorite spot to stay.

We enjoyed our stay here. The friendly owners enhanced our vacation. They showed an interest in our enjoyment of Door Co. The room was very clean. The clean swimming pool and hot tub were an added bonus.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Close to the lake with a cute beach.

Right off the main highway but tucked away so it feels like a retreat. Very friendly staff, wonderful hot tub & bon fire area. Can’t wait to return!!!!

Check in was easy, the woman at the front desk was very nice! Our room was comfortable and clean. The funky patterns on the walls and blinds was a really cool touch! We stayed only one night, not even 24 hours, but I’d stay again. The price was good and the location was out of the busy area of Fish Creek but still close enough to walk to everything.

It is a wonderful place in a wonderful town in a wonderful county and I am with my wonderful wife. I ask myself how did get here.

The room was super clean, the beds were comfortable, the price was right, and the staff was friendly and provided excellent service. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the whirlpool tub in our room was the icing on the cake. What a great place! We will be back.

It's right in front of the beautiful lakefront. The cars at night are a little loud because it's RIGHT by the street BUT very few drive by at night. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff is VERY knowledgeable and friendly! It's within walking distance of a lot of activities and restaurants too!

Our third visit to Gordon Lodge over the years and it doesn't disappoint. Well located in Door County so all kinds of other sights and activities are readily available.

No management staff on property but very accessible and responsive remotely via text. Everything was very automated from check in/out and turning on/off the fire pit.

I was so very excited to arrive at this hotel and have it be everything I had hoped for. Our check in was efficient and we were so excited to see our room--spacious, clean, and modern. Perfect. We loved the extras like the on property smalll grocery/gift shop, beautiful public spaces like the hot tub and pool, fireplace area with magazines and games, and free coffee.

Wonderful resort with access to a small private beach and nice balconies with view and lovely flowers. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and we received cold water in the frig as well as microwave popcorn. We enjoyed both. Nice breakfast choices but simple mostly, hard boiled eggs, Jimmy Dean microwave sandwiches, yogurt, bagels, muffins,, cereals and juices.coffee available most of the day in lobby and free wine in early evening.
