Weekend getaways in Ushuaia

We just needed a quick overnight before we boarded our cruise and this was perfect. It’s quiet and clean and breakfast was delicious. The staff are so helpful and kind. It’s also an easy walk to the main shopping and dining area.

Great space, great staff. A short walk to centro but not bad at all, just enough to be away from all the noise.

The location is perfect! Surrounded by beautiful flowers and a Mountain View. Sebastian is a wonderful host ready to assist with whatever is needed. The place is very comfortable and spotless. Sebastian prepared dinner for us which was fabulous. Very much enjoyed our stay!!

Clean quiet hotel with very friendly staff

Very comfortable stay. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Located one block away from the Main Street which made it quieter. Small gym and sizeable pool. The nearby museum (3 in 1) is interesting. Comfy dining area. Rental shop across the street. Hotel arranged several shuttle buses for us.

The hotel has a nice dome on the rooftop, we enjoyed a relaxed evening with hot cocoa and listening to music.

Everything was fine. A couple of things- mo soap for washing hands/bathing. Hair dryer dud not work. Staff said they would bring a replacement but did not. Otherwise stFf wS friendly

The apartment was clean, good amenities, close to grocery store and city center. The owner was awesome, and took care of anything!

My whole experience at Los Cauquenes was extremely pleasant! The staff were friendly, food was great, wine selection were excellent, awesome view of the mountains and beagle channel from the balcony and dining of the resort. Will definitely recommend it to friends and family.

We've recently stayed at both the Arakur as well as Los Cauquenes - apparently the two best hotels in Ushuaia. So we have some frame of reference for comparison. The Arakur wins out in almost every category. Only the view from the hotel room was slightly better at Los Cauquenes due to it being situated right at the water front. El espacio nos pareció excelente: muy bien ubicado, cómodo y con el mobiliario necesario para una estadía agradable. Las instrucciones de check in fueron puntuales y fáciles de seguir.

The hotel is a bit of a hostel. Each apartment has one room that will sleep one or two people my first night. I had a wonderful double bed with a wonderful duvet. The balance of my stay I shared with a group member. The other room has bunk beds and sleeps 8? There is a full kitchen tea and mate and instant coffee are provided. The building is cute. And is an inexpensive Uber ride from downtown I think each trip was three or four dollars. For my purposes, it was absolutely perfect.

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect and very convenient. Communication was excellent — super clear, friendly, and responsive the whole time. Would definitely stay here again a thousand times. Highly recommend!

After spending 10 days at Aldea Nevada, I found it to be a sylvan paradise that exceeded my high expectations in every way. The staff was helpful and quickly responsive, "our" cabin (it felt like home) so comfortable with all necessary amenities, the location close to everything yet far enough away to offer the silent solitude of a wooded glen. I was just expecting a standard room but got an apartment with living room and kitchenette. Also got a very early check-in at 9 AM. But the best part was the view from the breakfast room - spectacular! The hotel is centrally located and near a pedestrian shopping mall, casinos, and the waterfront. The staff is very friendly and helpful and English is no problem. Highly recommended.
