Weekend getaways in Växjö

Loved this place and would have preferred to stay here our entire time in Vaxjo but they were already booked. The underground parking, the comfort of the rooms, the location, the sauna and breakfast were all top notch!

Our second stay here in town. Lovely people. Lovely place. Close to everything we needed.

I enjoyed my stay in the hotel

Room was clean. We asked for a fan and it was no problem. The breakfast was lovely. This hotel is very close to the central station and walkable to everything. It is a small town yet lovely. Wevwouls consider staying here and making trips to Kalmer. We came from Copenhagen and it was a 2.5 hour train ride.

It's a great location, room was small, but served its purpose perfectly. Never was awake in time for breakfast, so i couldn't rate it. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Very nice property. Staff was pleasant, breakfast was good. The person staffing the breakfast room was particularly helpful and hard working. The only issue was parking, there wasn't much help finding a place to park and we weren't sure if we were going to get a ticket in the lot we parked in and the staff was not able ot help with that. We did not end up getting a parking ticket but had some anxiety about this

If you are familiar with how small guest houses work, this is a great place. There is no desk on duty everything is self check in. When you book you will receive instructions for opening the door and getting the key for your room. If you are an English speaker the instructions are in Swedish only. Not a drawback if you've done this kind of traveling before. I would give this five stars if there were ensuite bathrooms. They shared bathroom and shower may be off-putting to those who are used to...

A little bit out of Vaxjo.

This is the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. You get treated like royalty. I felt like a guest, not a customer. This is my first time ever writing a hotel review because this place was so wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, the staff are friendly, and the food is awesome! There is a garden in the back where lots of the fruits and vegetables are grown fresh. I can’t recommend this place enough!!

Lovely estate on beautiful grounds.

Enjoyed the atmosphere of the old manor. Wife and I enjoyed walking the grounds, eating great food for dinner and breakfast and not having any electronic distractions in the room (they have hi-speed wifi if you just need to get online). Staff and service was fantastic as were the views. The dinner was prepared with many ingredients grown right on the property.
