Weekend getaways in Ribe

The kitchen facilities are amazing and we liked our cute little cabin. Everything is so clean!

The location is very convenient for touring Ribe. The owner is very nice and very helpful. We stayed in the courtyard room, and it was very nice. Older, of course, because it's in Ribe, but the shower was hot and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, and there's a bakery just up the street for on-the-road snacks. The parking was a little ways off at Lidl, but it was easy to unload/load nearer the hotel.

Earlier reviews showed some extreme emotions regarding this hotel. Personally, the opportunity to stay in a lodging from the 1600’s was something I couldn’t pass up. I was not disappointed. The restaurant downstairs added to the ambiance, with the sounds of dishes clattering, clanging bottles, and patrons reveling. We even heard the night watchman chant his tidings up the stairwell at 10PM. If you are a fan of Harry Potter, you may get the feeling you are at The Three Broomsticks Inn/pub in...

We came in September (off-season) so it was very quiet, peaceful. Our family of 4 stayed in a room with one double and one twin. Thought I booked a room with two doubles but we were tired and had to run to meet family so I didn't check my reservation until after it was late and we just needed to go to sleep. We slept fine with 3 in the double bed and 1 in the twin (small kids). The beds were comfortable. Only soap in the shower so definitely bring your own toiletries (and I did have ours)....

The staff is excellent. Overall the food was very good. The accommodations are OK for the age and condition of the building. Definitely need to upgrade the mattresses. They have lived a good life, but I need to be retired. Wonderful views overall excellent experience.

Great staff. Nice room with plenty of storage. Every room has a balcony. Bed was comfortable but would love better pillows. Location was good and price was great. Would definitely stay again when visiting Esbjerg.

Cabin was great for all except to things. The bunk beds are don't all have rails so the possibility of aomeone falling off is real. (We learned the hard way.) The other problem is thay the shower runs out of hot water very quickly. Other than that the place is great. If you have a large party make sure they gove you enough bedding. We were short some. Would go back back, though.

Nice basic hotel. Nice staff. Way out in the country. Good breakfast.
