Weekend getaways in Clausthal-Zellerfeld

Liono was such a special place to stay. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was superb, with so many offerings! We love to walk, so the 15 minute walk to town was to our liking. Everything about Liono suited us and we would stay again if we are in the area!

This is my 16th trip to Germany. The Torfhaus Resort rates as one of the best experiences that I have ever had. The location is perfect for hiking, biking, sightseeing or just relaxing. It is in the forest, but close to Altenau, Braunlage and other larger communities. The cottages are in excellent shape with the most modern appliances. Staff is very professional and always on duty. Wonderful and friendly and very helpful service

The hotel is very nice and a really good stay. If I could have one wish fulfilled it would be a small refrigerator in the room. Especially when the summer is so warm.

Vi har flere gange besøgt skønne Goslar og her flere gange boet på dette skønne hotel. Omgivelserne både i og omkring hotellet er fantastiske, haven og roen til trods for at man nærmest bor midt i byen findes ikke bedre, så herfra vores varmeste anbefaling til hotellet - vi kommer der gerne igen.

Outstanding property, clean and well maintained. Spacious rooms and excellent restaurant

First off: The staff was phenomenal! From the front desk, to the restaurant (thanks for preparing my complimentary Tiramisu at 10:45pm!), to the cleaning crew, they were all amazing. The hotel has the best location given that is is right on the Markplatz. Easy walk to explore the town. Added bonus is the parking onsite for 10 Euros a day.
