Weekend getaways in Cornwall

Lovely place with a great restaurant, EV parking, etc. Very glad we stayed here.

The exquisite views, the helpful (but not overly interesting staff), and the excellent condition of the amenities and the room made for a 5 star experience.

Our room was adorable with views out over the fields. The surroundings are serene and restful and the breakfast was amazing!

If you are interested in exploring Cornwall, this is a great location to do it from you are a short distance from the north and south coasts as well as the western end of the country. You have access to very good roads. On top of that, you will find yourself in a well appointed room being helped be an excellent staff. We’re vegetarians and we found very good meals.

For our 4 nights in Cornwall we stayed at a very quaint Bed and Breakfast in Truro. Centrally located, it was a great place to stay and "wagon wheel" our day trips. From there, relatively speaking (by Texas standards) you can easily drive to many towns, fishing villages, beaches and other sites. We visited, Port Isaac, Tintagel, St Ives, Penzance, Land's End, Porthcurno and Minack Theatre. This property was simply wonderful. The owners were kind and helpful, the room was gorgeous, the location was close to everything you want to see in Newquay and transport, and the breakfast was excellent. Seriously. Stay here. ❤️

Was a perfect location to make frequent train connections and tour the area. Lovely room and welcoming hosts.

Modern, spacious room and bath, new decor. Comfortable bed and very clean. Toilet was noisy (old structure needs complex system) but added to the entertainment. Tavern was great! Food delicious. Great ales. Bartender (Taylor) was terrific. Inn location is across from the ferry. Mt. Saint Michael nearby.

Wonderful 6-day stay in the self-service apartment. Staff is so kind and helpful. Parking lot for hotel guests is large and easy to get in and out of. Hotel is steps away from the area bus stop and the walk down to the St. Michael's Mount causeway. Restaurants and shops nearby all definitely worth visiting (especially the hotel restaurant Cutty Sark and the hotel bar). Would absolutely stay again!

Clive and Alicia were extraordinary hosts. The view was amazing. The local pub was amazing. We learned very well how to drive in Cornwall on the narrow roads and had no issues as long as we were careful! We really enjoyed being in this area and had some lovely walks on the coastline and peaceful views of the ocean and terrific sunrises. It was a lovely stay in Cornwall thank you, Clive and Alicia.
