Weekend getaways in Kaikōura

azing shower, modern rainfall with black slate titles; very spacious room felt like an apartment and ocean view with kids play ground just across the street.

Our welcoming host, Julie, made us feel like her personal guests. The rooms were spacious, cozy, spotlessly clean, and had a wonderful ocean view. The homemade shortbread cookies were a very nice addition to our evening balcony coffee

Kitchen fully equipped with our cooking needs. Furniture comfortable, security good, parking excellent (undercover). Walking distance to main shopping area & short drive to supermarkets. The view to the ocean & mountains (snow-capped) was fantastic.

Retreat was very relaxing. The room we stayed in felt private, there is a nice lounge area outback with a hammock and comfy chairs. The hot tub was nice after a cold day kayaking. Jen was super friendly and helpful offering advice on restaurants in the area. The location is about 10min from downtown Kaikoura but exactly what we wanted in something away from the busy tourist area. Would 100% recommend this to others, great value.

The kitchen was great, it’s a lovely cottage set in beautiful gardens.

The room was clean and comfortable. We lacked nothing! And the front desk helped with dinner recommendations, made our reservations for us and arranged a shuttle when needed. Very welcoming.

Very nice shower, comfy bed, quiet, friendly welcome at check-in even though I arrived late! Super nice experience.

We stayed in the aeonium apartment which doesnt have a sea view but is still in a great location in the lovely garden. The apartment was clean spacious and had kettle, toaster, nespresso machine and fridge. An excellent continental style breakfast is self service in the shared kitchen between 8 and 9am. Staff and other buests were feally friendly

The location was ideal for completing the Kaikoura Península Walk, as it is located on the loop. It is a quiet location, a few minutes drive from the town center. The room was clean and comfortable with a small kitchen.

Beautiful views and central location. The stars are amazing and the local activities are out of this world.

Everything was great! Comfortable bed, Spacious room, and pleasant staff! I wish that there was a decaffeinated coffee choice and an alternative for sugar (like equal, or splenda). Other than that I have no suggestions to offer!

Super helpful staff. Explain where everything is. Go out of their way to assist you. Very clean upon arrival.
