While planning to explore River Murray Towns on my way back to Adelaide from Sydney, Echuca was an ideal place to start. Being in the main centre of the city bordered by the Murray and Campaspe Rivers, Campaspe Lodge was ideal.
Being at the back of the Echuca Hotel, the staff pre-warned about music and chatter, but being mid week and in a room towards the river, this was not a problem.
Parking was easy as I found a place on the street next to the hotel for my large van, which the staff...

WiFi was pretty useless, signal was far too weak to even maintain a stable connection. Private off street parking was available. Room was clean and tidy but is probably due for some cosmetic maintenance. No table in room to eat at. Most rooms are upstairs and no elevator is available which may be important to know for some people. Walking distance to many attractions and...

The atmosphere is fabulous, right on the Murray River with cabins made to look like an old western town.
Pool area is like a resort,
Already told friends to go there.

The Pevensey is conveniently located within walking distance of Echuca's city center and local shops and restaurants and parking is enough for the 20 lodges that make up the complex. The small pool is enough for sunbathing and relaxing, and...
