Weekend getaways in Whangarei

A quick overnight trip en route to Russell but a lovely place. Super clean and well equipped. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. Beautiful place on the beach with a world class view. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nice restaurants nearby too!

House and grounds are wonderful as is the owner Andy. Everything one could need is here. The breakfast was superb. Quiet, peaceful and every amenity taken care of. After a day on the water at Poor Knights this was a welcomed retreat. Dinner prepared optionally or at their suggestion we picked up fabulous fish and chips and ate outside on the patio. Perfect ending to a perfect day Thank you. We will definitely be back!

This was an excellent place to stay, and an excellent value. Easy parking, walkable to restaurants, and very friendly and efficient check in. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Great B&B property in a beautiful setting, gorgeous views and peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was wonderful every morning and Pauline offered valuable information about local sights and restaurants. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Beautiful harbor with fun surf beaches close by. Dining was limited in the town on Monday and Tuesday evenings.

Beautiful little place to stay out of the city with very kind and accommodating owners. Right down the road from a bunch of little shops and restaurants too.

Very clean. Staff was very friendly and kept the hot tub open for us for 30 mins past closing.

Great Location. Close to Hospital for appointments and close to all the best sights of the city. And walking distance to wonderful day spa AV spa

A fun experience - Kathy is incredibly nice and interesting to talk to. The property isn’t what you see in the photos as they are working on it. Expect more of a farmhouse stay with full kitchen and family room area. It is an operating small farm environment outside. Incredible views from the deck or lawn. If you are staying in the 1 bedroom, it appears you can expect to share a bathroom with whoever has the rest of the house!

A nice little stay along the way in this family-run motel. Cute themes and well-kept facilities roll back the memories of a slower, simpler world.

It was the best service ever. No paperwork just walk in the office, he hands ur key to you and walks u to ur room and says have a good night. Thats the way the rest of the world needs to be. Parking was very tight tho so better be a good backer upper and have small car to be able to park because also have to back all the at out the same way u came in.

Staff was excellent, the room was a little tired but fine, the best part was we had a perfect view of our boat in the harbor,
