Such a lovely stay! This small adults only hotel, just 5 rooms, is on the owner Anne's property, new and beautifully designed and maintained. They've recently added a gym, yoga area, sauna and steam room which we enjoyed very much. Anne and her team seemed to have a 6th sense whenever we needed something and were always there to help. Hotel Moderne is an elegant gem in the busy centre of Porto-Vecchio. Arrival and departure were very easy -- we communicated via Expedia/WhatsApp beforehand, and Joana sent clear instructions for driving to the drop-off spot directly in front of the hotel, and for the private gated parking a 5-minute stroll away, which even had a charging point for our electric car -- so convenient (don't forget to reserve in advance)! Beautiful and tastefully executed facility. Hosts provide everything you need for your stay. Location perfect for driving around to cities like Poro Vecchio and Bonifacio. Louvre their dog greeted us every day at breakfast. Patios de Pruno is a jewel.

Old and dates but clean and close to all the activity of restaurants and bars. Its repeatable.

The staff at the hotel is very helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They had no problem switching our rooms, getting our laundry done (folded and delivered to our room), changing rooms and moving our belongings . Nathalie and Marie were just great help! The hotel has exceptional views from the rooms facing the ocean. It is located approx 6-10 minutes from old town.

We were very kindly received at the reception desk after we „survived” a deception on our arrival in Porto Vecchio, because the owner of the apartment we had originally booked pretended that he had cancelled the booking, which was not true. The staff at Le Balamina made us feel safe regarding our stay in Porto Vecchio. We also had a delicious continental breakfast. We can‘t but recommend this Hotel which is not far from the port.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Quiet , clean, great food! Helpful and friendly owners.

Very efficient and friendly young staff. Always eager to help. Breakfast was great. Two nice swimming pool. Everything is in good condition (gardens) and it is obvious that they take good care of the property. Location is outside of the city (5-10mn drive) a bit too close to the main road and a bit far from the beaches (but they have their own private beach 20-30mn from the hotel).
