Weekend getaways in Plitvicka Jezera

We loved our stay with Marko and his family during our visit to Plitvice Lakes Park. We booked two rooms for our family of 5 - one large 3-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, and then one double room in the other building. Everything was comfortable, modern, and spacious. On checking us in, Marko gave us advice on the best way to see the park. Using the 3rd entrance, which is just down the road, is the way to go! Our room exceeded our expectations, always nice when you've been traveling! So clean, spacious, comfy bed and bedding. I was skeptical about noise as it is located closer to a highway, but slept all night with windows slightly open and didn't wake until the alarm rang. Wonderful location near Plitice Lakes, and easy access to restaurant & grocery. Would definitely stay again!

Of all of the places we stayed in our two week trip throughout Croatia, this place was by far the most special. The landscape/scenery is surreal and peaceful. You can barely hear any cars or noises other than the wind coming off the mountains and beautiful nature. Humming birds fly around bushes of flowers and fruit gardens. Rocking chairs and hammocks are scattered throughout the yard for r&r and reading a good book. The meals are five star, four course, and home made with fresh local...

Breathtaking veiw

This is a wonderful guest house with a very welcoming couple as hosts. Comfortable room with kitchenette. Make sure to take advantage of their delicuous cooking for dinner...like eating with family.

The location is great right next to the entrance to Plitvice National Park. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Grounds look nice but I arrived in the evening so I didnt get an opportunity to enjoy them. I would stay again if I make it back to that part of Croatia.

We selected this place because of its proximity to the NP. We told ourselves to lower our expectations, but that wasn't necessary because it was a warm, welcoming, clean and comfortable place. We slept really well. The breakfast was a special touch. Also there is a lovely restaurant just steps away for dinner that was great too (Rustic Lodge and they do accept credit cards). We would definitely stay here again!

We recommend this guest house. The owner was wonderful, including providing good suggestions for our visit to Plitvice Lakes. The breakfast was excellent. If you are planning to stay here before visiting Plitvice Lakes, we suggest purchasing 8:00 entrance tickets to the park. This will allow you to have breakfast at the guest house first.

We can't recommend this property enough. Family-owned, perfectly maintained, and lovely experience overall. We stayed here in order to get an early start at Plitvice National Park. The restaurant right next door (Rustic Lodge - also family owned) served us dinner at 10pm, and Green Lakes prepared a delicious breakfast for us in the morning and gave us a personalized map of Plitvice.

Building and room were modern, spotless, well equipped and comfortable in size. Check-in was friendly. Adjoining restaurant (owned and/or operated by the same family I believe) was outstanding and after eating there our first night, we returned there our second night. Only downside was the refrigerator in our room was a little noisy at night.

You must stay here when visiting Plitvice Lakes!! It is the perfect setting, and the rooms are fantastic. Absolutely spotless and peaceful, all you hear at night are crickets. The owners are the nicest people you could ever hope to meet, and will do everything in their power to make your stay comfortable. They are so helpful in navigating the lakes with inside information regarding conditions and are a valuable resource for everything related to your stay. You will love it here!

It was amazing the place was in a great position

We loved staying here for our visit to Plitvice. The rooms were spotless and so beautifully decorated. The staff takes your luggage on a golf cart leaving you to meander your way to your cabin. The shower was very nice and spacious which is great after a long day of hiking. There were a ton of family-friendly activities like lawn bowling, ping-pong etc, all outside in the perfect Croatian weather. We ate at the cafe most meals and everything was tasty.. Great place to stay during our visit in 2 nights. Very clean and comfortable. The owner is friendly and the location is close to the park too.

Beaaauutiful stay, clean and rustic, sooo charming and cozy, the shower was really pretty and beds very clean very comfortable, the breakfast was cute and delicious. Very close to restaurants and the national park lake, the breakfast made from local food it was very delicious very cozy. Mom and I loved staying here, we had a really good rest after a whole day at the park.
