Weekend getaways in Coimbra

The hotel was gorgeous! One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at in my life. Decor was beautiful, the room was very modern and very large. Wonderful breakfast and view from the top floor where you eat breakfast. Staff was helpful and very polite. I will stay here again when I come to Coimbra.

Cute little tucked away bed and breakfast. The staff were super friendly and easy to communicate with. We were about 10 minutes out from the city so we couldn’t hear the night life but we’re still close enough to uber in to see all the sites. We would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely amazing place, one of a kind. Do yourself a favor and stay here. The apartment suites were affordable, well appointed, peaceful, and charming. The staff was very polite and helpful. The food was excellent.

This clean little apartment had everything we needed, with space to spare! We appreciated being able to wash our clothes and have a breakfast of groceries we bought from a supermarket less than 10 minutes’ walk away - on a Saturday evening! Parking was conveniently located from check-in, and we took advantage of it upon checkout so that we could wander around town for a few hours. This was our first visit to Coimbra. We took a Flixbus to Coimbra from Porto. Easy to get to the hotel. The hotel was well located and it was very easy for us to see all of Coimbra. The staff were excellent. Breakfast was nicely prepared and included each morning. Coimbra is a small but friendly college town. The hotel was safe, clean and the staff were very helpful. When we return to this charming city, we'll stay here again.

The breakfast was not only fresh, magnificent and delicious, but the view from the terrace is amazing. Very generous. It felt like we were lodging in someone's comfortable home, located in a residential neighborhood but close to the university, shops, etc. Our hosts were invisible most of the time (jn a GOOD way) but always available as we needed them. We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The accommodations were very comfortable and breakfast was wonderful. The host, Antonio, is very charming. We had a car so easy to get to the center but if using the bus, the stop is in front of the b&b

The hotel is located in historical palace which definitely adds a lot to its charm. The hotel lobby, corridors, restaurant and other areas look like a royal palace and it feels like you are living in the museum, but with ability to touch and use the items. The room is very spacious and comfortable and the hotel part is very beautiful and pleasant to walk. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is also located quite conveniently within 10-15 mins walk to Coimbra city center.

The hotel is very good, deserve the raining. It is a little bit far from the town center for walking, and the city is getting through alot of construction

Hostess was excellent. We werent able to stay for the including breakfast so she made us sandwiches to take hiking for thr next day. Room was clean and the jacuzzi was absolutely perfect after days of walking up and down the hills. Parking was super convenient because we parked right outside the door. Restaurants and bars were in close vesinity too.

Reading the reviews (which were back and forth ) had me debating whether on not to book here but in the end we were very happy with our stay! This is not a traditional hotel. At check in and it looks like nothing and you start to question your choice to stay here but then we saw the room we were assigned and was thrilled. They decorated it for our anniversary! Such a wonderful touch. It was so clean as well. I know some rooms are more cramped than others but ours was more than enough. However...

Very well located, easy self checkin, friendly staff, specially Nuno who received us, he was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was very charming, roomy and cozy, had everything for a perfect stay. Muito bem localizado, auto checkin muito fácil, pessoal muito solícito, em especial Nuno que nos recebeu, muito prestativo e amável. O apartamento era muito charmoso e espaçoso, tudo para proporcionar a estadia perfeita!

Whole property felt and looked very luxurious. Wonderful food. Amazing, beautiful pool and pool area.

Great location. Check in instructions were clear and made that part of it easy. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions. The street was a little tricky to find. We missed it the first drive by. There is limited parking on the street which is metered. We were fortunate to find a spot. We would definitely stay here again.
