Weekend getaways in Effingham

After reading the reviews of all of the Effingham Hotels, we chose The Hampton Inn & Suites. The hotel was extremely clean, as was our room. The bed was very comfortable, the comforter and pillows were cozy and soft. The bathroom was nice sized with name brand toiletries available. Since this stay was during Covid, it was nice that guests and staff were wearing masks, and hand sanitizer was available at the main check-in desk, as well as, a small bottle in our room. Excellent place to stay in Olney. The accommodations are good with the bed being very comfortable. However, what made my stay here so great was the staff's friendliness and helpfulnes. They made my visit here OUTSTANDING (Caps intended). From the front desk staff to the those who cleaned our rooms to the breakfast area staff...they ALL were great. Can't say enough about their attention to the "customers". I definitely will stay here when I return to Olney.

This hotel was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was good. The person at the check-in desk was not very friendly or helpful. However, this is a great hotel and i highly recommend staying here.

Guest check in was easy and pleasant. Samantha waa great and even suggested a wonderful place for dinner. She was spot on. Room was beautiful and super clean. Comfy bed too. Breakfast was very good and one if the best I've had in a hotel in a long time. Thank you for a great stay!

Everything about the hotel and my stay was wonderful. Will stay there next year.

Nice stay

It was so quaint and spacious. Love the cute vintage decor. It was fun to read the hidden notes in the brick wall. The room was quiet and clean. There was a free coffee bar down the hallway. It was close to all the attractions. The $10 breakfast credit was easy to use at a choice of local restaurant. We received a code to enter the building and room. Staff were very professional and informative. Highly recommend and would stay again. Great place in a quaint little town.

Not enforcing masks or social distancing in restaurant/bar.

Staff was friendly. Facility was decorated nicely for Christmas. Outside pet area was clean and had bags/trashcans available. All and all I nice stay.

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The shower was large enought that you did not feel like a sardine in a can. The hotel is undier going renovations at present, but it was still clean and welcoming. The continental breakfast was one of the best we've experienced. I would recommend this location and this chain for sure.Effingham is a nice town too.

Paula was wonderful and very helpful with local information. Would stay there again.
