Weekend getaways in Wilmington

This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in a while. Very clean, almost pristine in fact.. I would stay here again anytime and I would recommend it 110%

We loved staying at the General Denver! The building is beautiful with a unique charm to it. The staff is incredibly friendly! We unintentionally booked a room too small for three people (the website described the room I booked as a Deluxe so I assumed it had a bed and pull out couch.) when it was determined we were actually in the smallest room in the entire hotel, the manager upgraded us to a two bedroom suite at no extra cost. I tore my dress I was going to wear to a wedding, and I needed a needle and thread to repair it. My husband went down to the front desk, but the person did not have it. She called the hotel next door, and went over to get a little sewing kit. My husband offered to give her a few dollars, but she did not accept it, saying it was part of her job. We believe it was a service beyond the call of duty. Also, the breakfast was tasty, and the premises and room were spotless. Thank you.

Great hotel, located on the restaurant/shopping strip in Wilmington. The Holiday Inn Robert's Center is where we stay for our annual trip to Wilmington, but was booked to a dog show this year. This H.I. Express was a excellent substitute. It was clean, modern and had good amenities. It was also convenient to our event. Great place including the little town.

Very friendly staff! Comfy and clean rooms. My girls and I loved the game room. It was well stocked with board games and table top games. Check out was a breeze. We will definitely stay there again if we’re in the area! Highly recommend!

I liked the cleanliness and maintenance of property. I did not like that the gift shop was "woke" with predominately lgbt and "pride" merchandise. Foreknowledge of this would have influenced our decision.

The ladies at the front desk was absolutely awesome so friendly I’m used to only stay at a Hampton but I am completely hooked on Drury now your staff was wonderful awesome stay will definitely be back

The location was safe and convenient to Austin Landing shops and restaurants.

Immaculate facility, comfortable, spacious, friendly absolutely loved this hotel! Also you will NEVER find a better breakfast included at a hotel anywhere in the US. We are traveling a lot over the next few months and I am trying to find another Residence to say in because this one was so great! Also a warm pool and a nice gym didn't hurt either! Location was wonderful for our family as well, we arrived tired and ended up walking across the parking lot for dinner. So easy!

We spent Christmas at the Dayton South Home2 Suites by Hilton. This is a new property and is meticulously maintained. While there a few nights, we used the gym and pool, both of which were relaxing. They offer an extensive breakfast buffet and have premade sandwiches and healthy options readily available, not just waffle and eggs here. The staff was amazing. Of course, you feel bad when you are the reason they are working... They made us feel welcome and were not upset they were working...
