Weekend getaways in La Baule-Escoublac

I loved staying here. This has been by far the best experience I have had using Hotels.com for the accuracy of a room and location. The family that runs this place was incredibly attentive and immaculately presented. The room was larger than I even anticipated from a hotel room in Europe, not to mention when it says "AC", it's not a window unit! It was an actual AC unit! Everything was spectacular. 10/10 recommend and will come here again.

I can't stress enough how wonderful the Hotel Lutetia was during a recent stay there. Some friends and I rented three rooms for one night. We weren't sure what to expect but even as we approached the hotel we could tell we had made a good choice. The hotel, about half a mile from the train station, is set amongst a residential area only two blocks from the gorgeous beaches of La Baule. This hotel is exceptional. The space in the room, the high ceilings, the decor, the comfort of the bed and bedding, the bath, shower, bidet, seperate toilet, robes and slippers, international TV channels (English!) all made for a very romantic last night in France. The hotel property is across the street from the nicest beach in 200 km in either direction, though closer to the port the water is more turqoise and calmer. The hotel has free bikes! A few rooms on the top 2 floors have obstructed...

All the staff were delightful and everything was perfect.

This hotel is well -located (1 block from the beach, 5 mins from the center of town) and very clean. Nice touch to have a roof deck but wish I could have had drinks there. I appreciated the bottle of water everyday and the bed and a/c was very comfortable. Definitely will come back. Bon rapport qualité prix!

We arrived close to midnight. The man checking us in was welcoming, helpful, wonderful in every way! The hotel was laid back and elegant! This is one of the best places we have ever stayed! Only a few rooms. Ours was very comfortable and clean. The people made the experience superb! Everyone was helpful, friendly, made sure every need was met. The chef prepared fabulous meals! We booked two nights then went back for a third and can’t wait to return another time!

My husband and I enjoy staying at small, authentic hotels over large, chain hotels and the St. Pierre fit the bill nicely. Our hosts were wonderful. Kind and helpful and spoke english well (although I had fun practicing my french with him!). Their breakfast buffet was outstanding, much more than the normal French fare (baguette, jam, etc.). The room was tiny so if we had been staying longer than a weekend we may have asked for something larger but otherwise it was fine. I would highly recommend...
