Last-minute hotel deals in Trinidad

They have an excellent breakfast for motel food.

The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was a very good size. The pool water was cold for August, but, the hot tub was great. The buffet breakfast was good, but, no meat was served. The breakfast is large. Our nonsmoking room bedspread had cigarette burns in it. I reported it and the desk clerk said a new one had been ordered. Wal Mart is about 1/8th of a mile away and Wendy’s is nearby, too, all easy to get to. We enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly staff. Got a call several hours following checkout. The housekeeper stated that we had left behind a computer tablet. Wow! What service! We were almost on our way out of town, and it was no problem to stop by and retrieve the tablet. What wonderful service. Otherwise, if one is expecting a brand new motel with pristine everything in the rooms... well, no. The room was a bit worn, like maybe it's time for an update. But the beds and furniture were clean, the bathroom and shower...

Cute and quiet place to spend the night or a week. Close to the highway and town. Beautiful sunset view. Pet friendly and a nice area to walk the dog. Herb friendly inside and outside.

I chose this property for the high ratings and the lower than chain hotels prices. It was a good choice! This place was clean with a 70s or 80s vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'd stay here again and recommend it to others as well.

Came through on an over night stay. Lynda at the front desk was GREAT! We had a little issue with our room. The room was in use or some thing. No big deal. We and the (front desk) had a good laugh. Moved to another room Key wouldn't work( this was actually getting to be funny) Maybe we wern't supposed be there??? It all worked out beautifully. Lynda was such a big help. The place was beautiful. I always stay here when I come to Raton. The restaurant has good food and the parking lot has enough room to make it easy to park a pickup.

Our second stay in 6 weeks. An exceptionally good value. Basic accomodations but very clean . I am walker dependent had a shower chair for safety. The manager exceptionally nice and available. Dog friendly. As a plus fret roam the srea around the motel in this charming mountain town. An exceptional value. No breakfast but Portillos Cafe in town was a great place to enjoy New Mexican breakfast. A good stopping point.

This is great motel - has original charm and is simple but has some nice modern touches, like new mattresses, new design retro headboards and other finishes. The glass outer door to the rooms are a nice touch. The attached cafe has great food and service. Friendly and helpful staff. Great for families.
