The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and a binder was provided to let people know what to do around town. Most definitely will be staying here again!

This was our second stay at Open Hearth and honestly, I don't think I will ever stay anywhere else. From the owners being more than accommodating (WIFI wasn't working in our room, it was fixed in 5 minutes), to the overall staff friendlyness, to the clean room and amazing breakfast (ok, lets talk about that pancake machine - AMAZING!!) This was a great experience. Bed was a little hard for my liking, but can't win everything.... and everything else was PERFECT!

The Holiday Motel is a very nice option when traveling through the UP. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They are pet-friendly and have a nice location with an area to walk your dog. The rooms are clean and recently renovated. We enjoyed a drink and dinner at a nearby restaurant and took our dog for a beautiful morning walk on the Manistique boardwalk, only minutes away.

This was absolutely fantastic overnight visit. The room was awesome. There were plugs everywhere, which we have rarely found in other hotels. Parking was close to room, Elevator made it easy to get to. Staff was so nice and supportive. Internet was brisk. Room itself was so well designed. This was a great stay. I would recommend it to everyone.

This little roadside motel was truly a gem. So cute, comfortable and clean. Close to many attractions in the upper peninsula area. We are at a local place named Jack's that was delicious. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. Would definitely stay here again if we get back that way.

i am a single older woman. I travel alone often, and it sometimes feels dangerous. the reception and ease of checking i. made me feel safe. what an awesome staff there.

Very clean property. Stay 2 separate nights in different rooms and the bathroom door did not close in both rooms.
Otherwise, a pretty good place to stay

This hotel so far exceeded our expectations. It is extremely well run. It has a long history of receiving awards and we could see why. Not what I would expect from an Econolodge. It is wonderful a s view amazing from the back!

Great location for an overnight stay traveling through the UP. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable with many updates in place. Quiet, with no noise from HWY 2 traffic.

Check in was easy, the woman at the front desk was very nice! Our room was comfortable and clean. The funky patterns on the walls and blinds was a really cool touch! We stayed only one night, not even 24 hours, but I’d stay again. The price was good and the location was out of the busy area of Fish Creek but still close enough to walk to everything.
