We arrived on an early flight, and got to the hotel at 6 AM. We were very tired. They gave us an early check-in in: no extra cost, and no questions asked! When you've been traveling intentionally for two days, this is a huge bonus.

Nice hotel in a good location. All of The staff was friendly, welcoming and very professional. The music around the pool area was a little loud at night, but I do highly recommended the DoubleTree hotel when staying in Iquitos.

So it’s not right next to central Iquitos, but that doesn’t matter. Central is a quick moto taxi ride for very cheap, or a 15-20 minute walk. What matters to me is how nice this place was.
